Andrew...

I have a friend named Andrew who looks like a cartoon character. I decided to draw a cartoon version of him and make stickers of the image which my friends and I put all around Toronto. Eventually there were so many of these stickers all around you could see Andrew everywhere. It was pretty funny going around the city because Andrew would turn up all over the place. If you have ever seen that image thats the story behind it.

Issue-ZERO...

Lately I've been pretty busy with the Cd cover from my last post, which is actually starting to take shape, but on the side there is also Issue-ZERO magazine. Its going to be a free magazine available around Toronto sometime next year, I believe...hopefully sooner. It features artists, reviews of shows and some lifestyle stuff as well as other articles so if your interested check it out. Its pretty cool and yours truly did the cover for the first issue as well as layout work. Check it out and support the magazine. The Craziest Job Ever...

So here is the run down. I'm kind of swamped with this job. I'm designing a cd cover for an up and coming album. The Artist and I have a very different direction we want to go in so for the most part I just grit my teeth and plow on. Here are two early ideas for the cover.

Drool-Boy...

I really like the vinyl toys that have become all the rage so I tried to make something kind of like it. Its basically a box but when you cut and fold it and stick its arms on it looks pretty cool. Here are the plans. Ps- If you stumble across this post and actually feel compelled to build Drool-Boy the image below is printer friendly. Print, cut,fold and you too could have one.

Crazy Flowers...

I just finished this painting today. I spray painted the canvas with some left over paint I had and filled in the detail with acrylic. This isn't the greatest picture of it but it was the best I could shoot. Click the images for a better look

Some Dude...

I was really bored the other day so I went out in the rain and spray painted this old door we had lying on the ground in the backyard. I should have waited for the rain to stop...it made the paint run badly.

Abstract Painting...

I took an abstract painting course at one point that I found very relaxing. There is nothing like spreading paint around for a few hours to really take the edge off. Here are the paintings I did wile in that class.

Most Downloaded...

Back when I had a psp I decided to design a wallpaper for it. It came out pretty cool looking so I posted it on a psp website. Within a few days it was the number one most downloaded. There are three versions and I like the first one the best.
